Paragraph 3 - "...The pleading stage in each of these appeals has been completed. Extensive discovery is under way. These are complex appeals involving approximately $26,440,130.00 in claims. Pretrial conferences are expected to commence in the Spring of 1989 and trials will probably be scheduled to commence in mid-1990. Negotiations between the parties have resulted in settlement of other appeals involving some $40,000,000.00..."
