Q: What can I expect if I just install a stock chip from PACCHIPS.COM?
A: Our stock chips gain over 50 horsepower and over 100 foot lbs. of torque.

Q: Can you customize a "tuned" chip for my truck?
A: It should not be a problem to customize a chip for your truck. We would highly recommend upgrading your stock exhaust system to a 4 inch exhaust system.

Q: What can I expect if I install your full performance kit, including a "tuned" chip?
A: We are gaining approximately 120 horsepower and over 250 foot lbs. of torque with our performance kit, consisting of (1) a high-performance, high-flow air filter, (2) an air-intake vortex insert, (3) a control module (our chip "tuned" for our proprietary design exhaust system), and (4) our "turbo to chrome-tip", mandril-bent, 4 inch exhaust system (manufactured by Jardine on our tooling from our proprietary design, including a heavy duty truck muffler).

Q: Why do I need a 4 inch exhaust system with a "tuned" chip?
A: By changing the air filter, turbo, actuator, etc. you are essentially putting more air into the motor. We can not get the exhaust out fast enough with the stock exhaust, especially after we have tuned our chip. Please keep in mind that if your truck does have a 4 inch exhaust on it I can tune the chip even hotter than our stock chips.

Q: Why isn't your 4 inch exhaust system made from stainless steel?
A: Diesel engines do not expel the same moisture content and volume into the exhaust pipes that gas engines do. There is little need for a stainless steel system on a truck with a diesel engine, except for cosmetics.

Q: What can cause my "CHECK ENGIINE" WARNING LIGHT to come on and, later, go off?
A: Any chips on the market that make any kind of power will set the light from time to time. It is a boost code. We will make a lot more boost with a "chip". Under hard accelaration or a hard pull with a big load, a truck can make around 24 lbs. of boost, setting the check engine light to "ON". It should go "OFF" after a short while. There is not a problem with the truck as long as the light is not staying on all the time . It is a code that no one had been able to figure out how to keep off.
